Recognizing signs of burnout
By Mental Health SpecialistApril 6, 20264 min read
Burnout isn't just for adults with jobs — school, family expectations, social pressure, and even social media can build up the same way.
Common signs include constant tiredness even after resting, losing interest in things you used to enjoy, feeling irritable or on edge, and struggling to concentrate.
If this sounds familiar, it doesn't mean something is 'wrong' with you — it means your mind and body are asking for a break. Small resets matter: consistent sleep, saying no to one extra commitment, or simply naming how you feel in a journal.
Our Mood Journal is a low-pressure way to start noticing these patterns before they build up — and if things feel heavier than you can manage alone, our Get Support page can connect you to someone who can help.
